He holds a Bachelor of Music degree from George Mason University, a Master of Music degree from The Catholic University of America, and a Graduate Performance Diploma from the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University. His major teachers include Glenn Dewey (“The President’s Own” Marine Band), Ira Gold (National Symphony Orchestra), and Paul Johnson (Baltimore Opera Company). He currently maintains a private studio, teaches for after school strings programs, serves as faculty for Bass Works, and has been a recurring presenter and performer at the annual Music and Gaming Festival (MAGFest).

Brandon’s session explores the artistic decisions composers make to communicate their ideas through music, our ability to receive and interpret that information, and the importance of guiding new listeners towards this same level of active and educated listening while inspiring them to also love and appreciate music of all kinds.
